Laurice Wade received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). She created a textile fashion business with richly colored rayon chenille scarves, which she sold in 30 galleries nationwide including 5th Avenue, New York, NY. Her business name was “The Sumptuous Scarf”.

Drawings by Laurice are created with charcoal, ink, water-soluble graphite, and water color. They are inspired by universal energies from wild natural places. She focuses on special moments and deeply felt connections.

Presently, she is a member of White Bear Center for the Arts in White Bear Lake, MN. Recently, her work was displayed at the Shoreview, MN public library (see Events Page) and the White Bear Center for the Arts.
